Question 1: The valley widens.
(This can be seen in the figure 2 from the source, where the valley is v-shaped and narrow, to the mouth, where the valley opens into a flat, wide floodplain)
Question 2: The gradient decreases from the upper course, where there are steep slopes, to the middle course, where there are gentle slopes, to the lower course, where the river moves across a flat and wide floodplain.
Question 3: In the middle course meanders can be found (also ox-bow lakes).
Question 4: Note - Geomorphic means changes to the land
In the upper course, the main geomorphic process is erosion. In the middle course it is transportation and in the lower course it is deposition.
